The Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA), founded by Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy, is dedicated to preserving and promoting Telangana’s rich cultural heritage across the United States of America.
Under the guidance of our esteemed leaders Advisory Chair Dr. Vijayapal Reddy, Advisory Co-Chair Mohan Reddy Patalolla, and Advisory Member Bharath Madadi, TTA is thrilled to announce the inaugural celebration of Bonalu and Alai Balai Jathara 2024 festivities, cherished traditions of the Telangana people.
TTA’s Bonalu and Alai Balai events, led by President Vamshi Reddy Kancharakuntla, were a huge success across the US. Kudos to Cultural Chair Priyanka Krishna & Executive Vice President Dr. Narasimha Reddy Donthireddy for their outstanding efforts.
New York: The Telangana American Telugu Association’s (TTA) New York team, under the esteemed leadership of its founder, Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy, successfully organized the Bonalu and Alai Balai Jaathara festivities. This event garnered significant attention and support from both the local community and government officials. The presence of prominent local leaders at the event added to its success and prestige. Devotees offered prayers to Goddess Mahankali, and the event served as a catalyst for promoting positive change and fostering greater recognition and appreciation for the festival’s cultural significance. Indianapolis: The Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) Indianapolis chapter recently held a joyful Bonalu festival, guided by the esteemed leadership of our Advisory Council Chair, Dr. Vijaya pal Reddy Garu, and General Secretary, Kavitha Reddy Garu and RVP Ravinder Reddy Purunmandla.The event was a tremendous success, with over 600 devotees actively participating in the celebrations.
New Jersey: The Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) New Jersey chapter joyfully celebrated the traditional Bonalu festival under the esteemed leadership of our Advisory Council Co-Chair, Dr. Mohan Patalolla Garu, and EC Member-Joint Secretary, Shiva Reddy Kolla. Seattle: The hometown of President Vamshi Reddy, (TTA) Seattle Chapter successfully hosted the Bonalu Festival vibrantly celebrated Bonalu and Alai Balai Jathara. The community came together to offer Bonam to Goddess Mahankali, accompanied by the energetic sounds and dynamic dance of Pothuraju. Charlotte: The Charlotte team of the Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA), under the guidance of President Elect Naveen Reddy Mallipeddi, successfully celebrated the Alai Balai festival on August 18th at Marvin Efird Park in Charlotte. The team meticulously organized a sumptuous lunch and an array of captivating cultural programs, making the event a memorable experience for all attendees. Greater Philadelphia: The Greater Philadelphia area, hometown of TTA Executive Vice President Dr. Narasimha Reddy Donthireddy, proudly hosted a vibrant celebration of the traditional Bonalu festival, which was met with immense enthusiasm. The event was a resounding success, attracting over 1,800 devotees who participated with great fervor and joy, making it a truly unforgettable experience. Tampa: The Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) Tampa chapter celebrated Ashadamasam Bonalu in collaboration with the Telangana Association of Florida (TGFL) on Sunday, July 14th, 2024. The celebration attracted an impressive crowd of nearly 900+ attendees. It was a vibrant and joyous event, showcasing the unity and enthusiasm of our community. Bonalu Jathara organized by TTA across America ended with a bang this month. President Vamshi Reddy and the Executive committee extend their heartfelt gratitude to all participants and express their sincere appreciation to the TTA Board of Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, and Standing Committees for their tireless efforts, dedication, and leadership in making Bonalu and Alai Balai a resounding success in their respective states.
