Tributes to YS Rajasekhara Reddy on his birth anniversary in Phoenix, Arizona

YSRCP Phoenix Committee paid rich tributes to former Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy on his  birth anniversary in Phoenix, Arizona on July 5th. Mr. Aluru Samba Siva Reddy Advisor (Education) of Government of Andhra Pradesh graced the occasion as chief guest and paid floral paid floral tributes to former Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy.

Aluru Sambasiva Redy described YSR as a great leader who will remain in people’s hearts forever. He said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been following the footsteps of YSR and fulfilling his dreams of welfare state. He has addressed the gathering and explained in detail the reforms that have been taken to overhaul education sector and the schemes such as Amma Vodi, Mana Badi – Nadu-Nedu, Vidya Kanuka and ‘Gorumudda’ which are already showing results as the school dropout has reduced considerably in Andhra Pradesh.

He also explained to them about the new initiatives such as the school maintenance fund, the toilet maintenance fund, analysis about digital education, smart TVs, interactive flat panels in classrooms, distribution of tabs loaded with Byju’s content to students of class 8 and teachers, proposal to implement CBSE syllabus in all government schools.

He has emphasized that the investment that Government is putting on Human Capital are set for long term returns reducing the rich poor gap and uplifting people from poverty. He requested every one to come forward and use social media as a tool to fight against the false propaganda by yellow media with facts .

Attendees included eminent community leaders Dr Roopesh, Sesha Reddy, Rekha, Karuna and YSRCP Phoenix community members including Vamsi Krishna Eruvaram, Dheeraj Pola, Sai Katta, Sreenivasulu Mamidi, Shiva Konduru, Ramesh Yadav, Madhan Gopal Bolla Reddy, Paritosh Pola, Maheedhar Nallapareddy, Sreedhar Lakkireddy, Ravi Narala, Vemseckar Addepalli, Vishnu Choppa, Bhargavi Teddu, Satheesh Reddy and Gnanadeep.
