The Telugu Association of Indiana (TAI) brought the community together this summer in spectacular fashion with a trilogy of events celebrating wellness, camaraderie, and tradition across the state of Indiana.
Walkathon (June 1 – July 20)
The season kicked off with an energetic, community-wide Walkathon, encouraging participants of all ages to step into a healthier lifestyle. With weekly challenges, group milestones, and community encouragement, the Walkathon turned fitness into a fun, collective celebration of togetherness.
Sports Tournaments (July – August)
The Telugu Association of Indiana TAI’s Sports segment was a true celebration of athletic spirit, drawing around 400 participants across a variety of games. From badminton, volleyball, pickleball, throwball, table tennis, and chess to the ever-exciting tennis finals.
Each event showcased friendly competition, teamwork, and passion. The enthusiasm on the courts and fields was matched only by the camaraderie off them, with medals and trophies adding pride to the accomplishments.
Vanabhojanalu (August 24)
Culminating the summer, TAI Vanabhojanalu on August 24, 2025 was a vibrant celebration of Telugu culture and culinary heritage. With over 1,400 attendees, the event was a true testament to the strength and unity of the Indian community in Indiana.
Held at Forest Park Inn in Noblesville, the event featured traditional food served the authentic way bringing back the nostalgic charm of authentic Indian dining, live performances brimming with cultural flavor, games, raffles, and joyous family fun. This was truly a carnival of community spirit.
