Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) Atlanta chapter celebrated Grand Dussera and Bathukamma Festival in Atlanta, Georgia on October 28, 2023 at Desana Middle School. The event was very successful with huge Telugu crowd.
This event included Vendor stalls, Food stalls, Beautiful decorations, Bathukamma, Kolatam dance followed by Free delicious traditional Telangana dinner. Event started with Jyothi Prajwalana, continued with cultural programs conducted by reputed dance and music schools.
Performed Jammi puja with all TTA family members, and provided offerings to Goddess Durga and felicitated the priests. Program is delighted with Chief Guest Carter Barrett – Georgia State House representative, Dileep Tunki – City Council member and various other local organizations representatives.
TTA Atlanta felicitated Chief Guests, Sponsors and other local community leaders. The TTA Atlanta Women Team designed and made a unique 8 feet Bathukamma to honor the festival, which included traditional songs and dance performances.
Spectacular dance showcases were a significant highlight. Engaging Cultural dance & singing performances by children and youth mesmerized all. Bathukamma Fashion walk and Flash Mob Kolatam are the biggest hits for the event.
TTA Atlanta team thanked Founder Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy Garu, Advisory council Dr. Vijaypal Reddy garu, Dr. Mohan Patalolla garu, Bharath Madadi garu, and president Vamshi Reddy garu, and General Secretary and National Bathukamma Advisor Kavitha Reddy garu, President Elect Naveen Reddy Garu, and Executive Vice President Dr. LN Reddy Garu for their continuous leadership and support.
Under the TTA Atlanta leadership of Bharath Reddy Madadi garu, and Board members Swathi Chennuri, Karthik Nimmala, Venkat Gaddam, and RVP’s: Sudheer Kotha and Trilok Guntuka, and Organizing committee members – Jyothsna Palakurthy, Deepthi Yeluguri, Swetha Nimmala, Sangeetha Gurrapu, Deepika Nalla, Dr. Vani Gaddam, Giri Kotagiri, Prabhakar Madhupathi, Madhu Nambeti, Sripal Reddy, Venkat Nalluri, Satish Kurelly, Nidheesh Baskaruni, and Roshi Reddy, event execution was a grand success.
