Alpharetta, Georgia: On May 14, 2025, the Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) proudly inaugurated Lab Services, as part of our free health services. This launch marks itself as a special milestone in 13 years of continuous service to the community. The launch was graced by the esteemed Honorable Consul General of India, Mr. Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan, who officially unveiled the plaque marking this significant milestone.
Several distinguished guests and dignitaries joined the inaugural celebration, including Johns Creek City Council Member Mr. Dilip Tumki, Dr. Srini Gangasani (Cariologist, GAAPI Chairman), Dr. Prasad Garimella (Pulmonologist, Director), Mr. Ramesh Maturu (President, Pyramid Consulting), Mr. Chris Gadde (CEO, Allied Informatics) and Mr. Anjaiah Chowdary Lavu.
Notably, several devoted physicians who have been instrumental in the ongoing success of TAMA’s free health clinic were also present. Among these dedicated professionals were Dr. Guru Prasad Ghanta, Dr. Ravindranath Batthina, Dr. Naga Kommuri, Dr. Nandini Sankireddy, Dr. Deepthi Talluri. Their tireless efforts continue to be the cornerstone of this noble healthcare initiative. In addition, now the lab services are provided through Mr. Kintu Shah, Dr. Takki Momin, Ms. Arshi Momin.
The event was held at the TAMA Office in Alpharetta, Georgia. The inauguration commenced with the ceremonial unveiling of the plaque followed by an inspiring keynote address by Mr. Ramesh B. Lakshmanan, who commended TAMA’s unwavering commitment to community service. He pledged his full support toward TAMA’s ongoing and future endeavors.
TAMA Chairman Mr. Raghava Tadavarthi, in his remarks, highlighted that the free clinic services began in 2012 and have flourished due to the steadfast dedication of doctors, selfless volunteers, and generous sponsors. He also released a detailed list of the newly launched lab services and their affordable prices, including:

TAMA’s lab services are being conducted in collaboration with Piedmont Labs, Atlanta, ensuring high-quality diagnostic care.
During the event, TAMA President called upon all attendees to spread awareness of the free clinic and lab services, encouraging community engagement and outreach. Mr. Nagesh Doddaka, in his address, praised the relentless efforts of the medical professionals, referring to them as the backbone of this humanitarian initiative.
Several other notable personalities were in attendance, including TAMA’s 25th President Mr. Bala Reddy Indurti, Film Actor and Producer Mr. Venkat Duggireddy, and Mr. Madhukar Yarlagadda TANA Southeast regional coordinator. In recognition of their valuable contributions, the chief guest, all distinguished guests, and participating doctors were felicitated with elegant silk shawls and floral bouquets.
Light refreshments were served, adding a warm and welcoming touch to the celebratory atmosphere. As a gesture of appreciation of the clinic services, Mr. Satya Nagender Guthula (Cultural Secretary) generously donated an iPad to support TAMA’s free clinic in expanding its digital capabilities and improving service delivery.
