Next generation kids shine at TAMA’s “Build & Sell Challenge” in Alpharetta, Georgia

The Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) successfully concluded a fun-filled and inspiring event that brought out the entrepreneurial spirit in our next generation — the Build & Sell Challenge, held on August 23rd, 2025, in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Designed to spark creativity, innovation, and confidence, this unique event invited students from middle school to high school to build something they are passionate about — and then pitch and “sell” it to a live audience and a panel of friendly judges.

Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders

The event offered young participants a platform to:

• Build a product or concept they loved
• Present and pitch their ideas to a live audience
• Think outside the box and respond to on-the-spot questions from judges

Kids were not only excited to create — they walked away with a sense of accomplishment, improved communication skills, and a deeper understanding of how ideas turn into marketable products in the real world.

After the event, many students expressed how the experience helped them:

• Think creatively
• Speak confidently
• Explain their ideas with clarity
• Understand the basics of product innovation and entrepreneurship

Celebrating Creativity, Clarity, and Courage

Winners were recognized and awarded prizes based on their creativity, clarity of presentation, and courage to take the stage. It was truly a memorable summer highlight for the participants, giving them a rare opportunity to shine in front of a warm and encouraging community.
