Cleveland, Ohio, December 13: Sankara Nethralaya U.S.A. proudly presented “Echoes of Compassion – Where Arts Meet Heart,” the first-ever Ohio Chapter fundraising event in Cleveland. The landmark program was held on Saturday, December 13, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Medina Performing Arts Center (Middle Stage) in Medina, Ohio.
Organized under the able guidance of Smt. Kalyani Veturi, Cultural Committee Member (Ohio), the event brought together several music and classical dance schools from Greater Cleveland—each united in supporting Sankara Nethralaya’s noble mission of preserving sight and serving humanity. The evening featured a vibrant blend of classical music and Indian classical dance traditions, captivating the audience and receiving resounding applause.

Despite a snowstorm and challenging weather conditions, the spirit of service shone brightly. True to the belief that “snow or shine, the show must go on,” the event proceeded seamlessly and was attended by over 150 community members, reflecting overwhelming community support and commitment.
The program was further honored by the presence of Mr. Bharath Patel, Founder of India Fest U.S.A., who attended as Special Guest, adding encouragement and distinction to the occasion. “Echoes of Compassion” stood as a powerful reminder of how art, culture, and community can unite to create meaningful impact—reinforcing Sankara Nethralaya U.S.A.’s mission of service through compassion and collaboration.
The Sankara Nethralaya USA Ohio Chapter expressed sincere gratitude to Sri Bala Reddy Indurti, President of SNUSA, along with Smt. Neelima Gaddamanugu, Sri Moorthy Rekapalli, Dr. Reddy Urimindi, Sri Vamsi Eruvaram, Sri Shyam Appali, Sri Ratnakumar Kavuturu, Sri Giri Kotagiri, Sri Amar Amyreddy, and Sri Goverdhan Rao Nidiganti for their leadership and logistical support in making the event a success.
