Second Harvest Of Silicon Valley: TANA & BATA Food Bank

Bay Area Telugu Association and Telugu Association of North America joined hands together and volunteered at Second Harvest Of Silicon Valley to help prepare food for distribution. Volunteers helped by verifying, sorting, labeling and repacking food items. This community event happened on December 29th at Cypress Food Distribution Center in Northern San Jose.

The team was able to achieve a high goal of sorting 10,000 pounds of food that is ready for distribution to the needy in Bay Area Silicon Valley. Volunteers involved in this noble event expressed their immense satisfaction in doing community service that directly impacts the people in need during this holiday season.

Second Harvest Of Silicon Valley Management expressed their gratitude and thanked TANA & BATA volunteers for their invaluable service during this unprecedented pandemic times. Thanks to all the volunteers, TANA Northern California Team, BATA Team, especially youth volunteers.
