Maatru Vandana program on Friday night went very well in London, UK. Sanskruti Centre for Cultural Excellence students highlighted the role of mother and mother goddesses in building harmonious society and vanquishing the evil, taking a beautiful story of seven divine mothers from Matsya Purana.
They have marked Mothers’ Day in UK with a fabulous cultural program at The Bhavan, London presenting the story of Sapta Maatrukas, a well-researched story from ancient texts. Presented in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Manipuri and Mohiniattam styles, it was spell-binding to see how the young and not very young generations both on stage and in the auditorium connected with the theme and the presentation.
A big Well Done to the performers, who travelled from different parts of the United Kingdom (UK) and beyond to be part of this unique program, and an engaging anchoring. Sanskruti Centre blended very beautifully with British and Indian traditions through this Maatru Vandana.
Thank you for the huge appreciation, those who all could make it. The packed hall is a witness to the relentless hard work Sanskruti Centre for Cultural Excellence is making to build our future cultural ambassadors. Receiving a congratulatory message from His Majesty King Charles III from Buckingham palace was phenomenal.
