Bellevue, Seattle, WA – The city of Bellevue witnessed a delightful celebration of culture, spirituality, and community service as the Sai Parivar Foundation marked its 7th anniversary with a grand event on July 15, 2023. The event held at Microsoft campus in Redmond, was graced by the esteemed presence of Guruji Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy, an eminent spiritual leader from India. Guruji’s work, ‘Shri Guru Bhagavat,’ stands as an unparalleled spiritual treatise, offering a comprehensive understanding of the revered ‘Guru lineage’ that upholds the glorious traditions of our rich Indian culture. As a compassionate humanitarian, accomplished professional, and a friend, philosopher, and guide to millions across the globe, Guruji has left an indelible mark on everyone’s life around the world. The Washington community was fortunate to listen directly from guruji himself.

The soul-stirring evening unfolded with the divine presence of Guruji Dr. Satpathy, who graced the event by lighting the ceremonial lamps, infusing the atmosphere with spiritual radiance. The evening was made even more special as it was honored by the presence of notable dignitaries, including Dr. Vandana Slatter, Washington State Representative, Jimmy Matta, Burien City Council Member, and Saini, Miss World America 2020, among other distinguished delegates. Their attendance added a touch of prestige to the celebration, and their encouraging words and support uplifted the spirits of all attendees.

Washington state Senator Judith “Judy” Warnick has sent a letter welcoming guruji to the state of Washington and an open invitation for future visits.  The letter extends a warm welcome and some excerpts from the letter (Paraphrased) – “On behalf of the state of Washington, we extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to Guruji. Your exceptional contributions and teachings have garnered recognition, and we are honored to have you grace our great state. We believe that your presence and profound insights will enrich our community, fostering a meaningful dialogue on spirituality, compassion, and service to humanity. We eagerly anticipate future visits from you, and we extend this invitation as an expression of our sincere appreciation and eagerness to learn from your wisdom. Welcome to Washington State, Guruji.”

During the event, Ms. Vandana Slatter handed in the invitation letter from Washington State senate and delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude to Dr. Satpathy for his significant contributions to society. The presence of many devotees, trustees, and members of the Indian diaspora, further enriched the event, creating an atmosphere of unity and celebration of shared cultural values.

The stage then came alive with a captivating showcase of cultural performances that left the audience entranced. Gauri Agashe’s graceful dance interpretations of Ganesha Vandana, Shri Guru Bhagwat, and Kautukam brought forth an enchanting aura, weaving stories of devotion and celebration. Following this, Ms. Nidhi Kumar and her team of talented young children took center stage, their soulful singing captivating every heart present. Anamya Mongia’s heartfelt rendition added to the excitement, elevating the evening to a realm of profound emotions and artistic brilliance.
