Praveen Maripelly from Vellulla, Metpalli Mandal, Jagityala District, Telangana travelled from India to Tanzania in Africa to summit Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, and performed 108 Surya Namaskars on it’s top. It is one of the seven summits in the world with 5895 meters(19340 feet) of altitude,10% oxygen level, and minus 9 degrees Celsius temperature.
Praveen Maripelly climbed 34 kilometers, one way, in 4 days from July 4th to 7th, 2022, to summit Kilimanjaro. Praveen summited Mount Kilimanjaro on 7th July at 6:30 am local Tanzanian time and performed 108 Surya Namaskars in 39 minutes and 20 seconds.
