Northlake NRIs celebrated Diwali with fervor @ Dallas, Texas

Diwali celebrations in the Ridge at Northlake in Dallas, Texas organized by the community social committee members were witnessed by 500+ NRIs. This festival of lights event was led by Mrs. Lalitha Setty and Mrs. Nasreen Vali.

The event started with a welcome song by kids on lord Ganesha and lord Rama. Many kids participated in dance and singing performances and were cheered by parents and residents. The fashion show showcased by the dazzling women on the ramp received lot of applauds.

Everyone enjoyed music and danced to the DJ numbers. A delicious dinner was served that was relished by one and all. The decor and ambiance created a traditional Indian vibe that made the event look festive.

Volunteers including Sridevi Chiluvuri, Sabitha Kanaparthi, Swarna Anand, Hima Challa, Sree Likhita, Sandhya Pittala, Vinay Raj, Olvin Lobo, Ullas Bhat, Kaza Vali, Pavan Koduru, Teja Kosaraju, Madhu Ravulapalli, Krishna Pittala, Aneesh Abraham, Chaitanya Mamidipaka, Priya Lobo, Amber Mullins, Megha Ullas, Bhavya Mamidipaka Nowreen Fayaz, Shawn Lobo, Nayana Kanaprthi, Anu Anand, Mamatha Karnati, Lavanya Reddy, Geeta Ramamoorthy, Viji Karthik, Kanthi Priya, Kanchana Vadi, Ramya, Swathi Vaddi, Sheetal, Tanmayi, Deepika and many others came together to make this event a grand success.

The event was supported by the community manager Ms. Megan Youngblood. Everyone took lot of pictures and thoroughly enjoyed the evening with memories to last long. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks.
