NCAIA to Celebrate India’s 77th Republic Day in Virginia, Welcomes Ambassador Namgya Khampa on Feb 15

Manassas, Virginia: National Council of Asian Indian Associations (NCAIA) (HQ–VA), while steadfastly supporting Asian Indian organizations across the DC–Maryland–Virginia (DMV) region, proudly upholds its longstanding tradition of commemorating India’s Republic Day, Independence Day, vibrant cultural festivals such as Holi, and welcoming distinguished dignitaries from India.

This proud legacy of community leadership and cultural celebration, the Council will host a grand community celebration on Sunday, February 15,2026 honoring India’s 77th Republic Day and welcoming Ambassador Namgya Khampa, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, at the newly built Magnoliya Grand Conference  & Event Center in Manassas, Virginia.

The celebration will showcase ceremonial flag hoisting, a special tribute marking 150 years of Vande Mataram, captivating cultural performances, vendor exhibitions, and an elegant sit-down gala dinner. A commemorative souvenir highlighting the enduring and expanding partnership between the United States and India in democracy, security, technological innovation, and economic progress will also be released.

Distinguished Virginia-based political leaders and prominent community members will join this joyous gathering, making it a proud moment of unity, heritage, and community celebration for the entire DMV region.
