Greater Washington Telugu Cultural Sangam ‘GWTCS’ organized women’s day event on March 12th. It was a sold out event held in Sterling, Virginia. Cultural programs with great ambience, ramp walk, fashion show, dance floor, and lot of fun games made the event colorful and dazzling. It is the spirit ‘women helping women’ that drove the event to grand success.
The event was kicked off by lighting a lamp with lord Ganesha in the Bellevue Conference & Event Center. Popular women in DC, Maryland, and Virginia area who have been serving the community for a while have been felicitated. GWTCS definitely raised the bar with this year’s women’s day celebrations by breaking the records set in 2019. Lot of women leaders including Sudha Kondapu and Kavita Challa were seen at the event.
“We had a blast with successful women’s day celebrations. It is a dazzling evening with lot of entertainment to remember for years to come. A very warm thanks to all performers for mesmerizing and gracing the event with their wonderful performances. Special thanks to our cultural team, executive committee members and volunteers for their continuous support.” said Saisudha Paladugu, president of GWTCS.
