Telangana Cultural Day by GATeS on June 1st @ Cumming Fairgrounds, Atlanta

Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) is all set to celebrate Telangana Formation Day aka Telangana Cultural Day on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 from 2 pm to 10 pm in Cumming, Georgia. The venue for this event is Cumming Fairgrounds. Parking and entry are free. This event was made possible by GATeS dedicated sponsors.

This is to recognize the sacrifices of the Telangana people and enrich their culture with folk songs, bonalu, cultural dances by the contemporary singers from the Telangana area. Being a non-profit, non-biased, non-political, Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) is the one and only organization working relentlessly to keep the Telangana rich culture in the Atlanta area.

GATeS is gearing up with ample parking space to accommodate families, kids, and senior citizens. The GATeS leadership is planning this event to encourage local talent as well as to fill the gap between American born kids and Telangana culture, food, music, and the rich language.

Prominent singers from Telangana including the chief guest Vandemataram Srinivas, Tollywood singer Dhanunjay, Telugu Indian Idol-2 contestant Sruthi Nanduri, the renowned music composer, lyricist, and singer Bhole Shavali, singer Sristi Chilla, singer Akhila Mamandur, and singer Anukruti will be forming at this event.

There will be celebrity guests at this event including actress Ankitha Jhaveri, Dandepally Srinivas, Asta Gangadhar, Lavanya Gudur, Shani Salmon, and Sarayu. Live music by M Music Band will be performed at this event. There will be vendor stalls to showcase the local businesses and ethnic food.
