GATeS & ATA Volleyball Tournament; Teams battled an action packed display of sportsmanship

Atlanta, Georgia, July 27, 2025: The Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) and American Telugu Association (ATA) Volleyball 2025 tournament was a grand success, hosted at Roswell Park with over 200 attendees, including 160 players, volunteers, and families.

The one-day tournament stood out for its flawless execution, spirited competition, and community celebration. The tournament kicked off bright and early at 8 AM EST and made history by completing all matches within a single day—an unprecedented achievement for an event of this scale.

Sixteen teams battled it out from morning to evening in an action-packed display of energy, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. GATeS, ATA and its volunteers went above and beyond to ensure the well-being of all participants. Players were treated to breakfast, tea, water, lunch, and refreshing watermelon to stay energized throughout the day.

The event concluded with an exciting final match and a grand awards ceremony at 5 PM. The players and attendees lauded the GATeS, ATA team for their exceptional planning, tireless dedication, and superb event management.
