Carnatic Music Concert by great grand daughters of MS Subbulakshmi in Atlanta on Sept 30

Madurai Shanmukhavadivu Subbulakshmi (MS Subbulakshmi) doesn’t need an introduction. She is an Indian Carnatic singer from Madurai, Tamil Nadu. She was the first musician ever to be awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor and the first Indian musician to receive the Ramon Magsaysay award.

Lot of us may not had an opportunity to witness MS Subbulakshmi’s singing talent face to face. However, you can witness almost the same but with the great grand daughters of MS Subbulakshmi and grand daughters of Carnatic vocalist Radha Viswanadhan, S Aishwarya and S Soundarya.

Janardhan Srinath will be on violin and Phanindra Bhaskara will be on mridangam. Srivalli Sridhar of Raagam Talam Pallavi music school is organizing this great Carnatic music concert (Divine Duet) on Saturday, Septembar 30, 2023. This concert will take place at Gokuldham Haveli in Buford, Atlanta from 4 pm onwards.
