ATA Chicago Chapter organized an electrifying cricket tournament in Glendale Heights, Illinois

American Telugu Association (ATA) conducted a thrilling Cricket Tournament at Camera Park in Glendale heights, Illinois on Saturday September 6, 2025. The nail biting tournament concluded with Strike force team emerging as Champions in an electrifying finale against a terrific TANA legends Team in the super over.

8 Teams participated in the event that followed a unique 7 overs and 7 Players format. ATA Secretary Sainath Reddy Boyapalli, Trustees Ven Reddy, RV Reddy and Ratnakar Arjula were instrumental in making this event a grand success. Excellent Camaraderie, Coordination, teamwork, and community spirit was on full display.

TANA Legends, Yodhas, Strike force, Chicago Locals, Gabrus, NATS, ATA & SRK Lions battled it out in a very exciting tournament. All the teams played with much vitality and vigor and displayed excellent camaraderie and determinations.

MVP award was granted to Anees from Strike Force, Best Batsman of the Tournament was awarded to Sumanth of TANA legends. Best Bowler of the Tournament was awarded to Venkat Puli of Strike Force. Winning & Runner up Captains Venkat Puli (Strike Force) and Bhadra Boppana (TANA Legends) were honored with the gift cards.

Winners were presented with the mementos by ATA Secretary Sainath Reddy Boyapalli, BOT ‘s Ven Reddy and RV Reddy with the blessings from ATA Founder Sri Hanumanth Reddy Garu and Well-wisher Sri KK Reddy Garu. Event was well executed with the help of committe members Bhanu swargam and Laxman Reddishetty.

Venkat Thudi and Mahipal Vancha also graced the event. American Telugu Association (ATA) team congratulated the prominent community leaders from TANA Hema Kanuru Garu, Madan Pamulapati from NATS and Praveen VemulaPalli Garu for their unconditional support.

ATA Chicago Team extends its sincere gratitude to all the players, volunteers and community members for their unwavering support. Ecstatic organizers announced that the overwhelming response inspires them to plan the future events on much a much bigger and grandeur scale.
