Reception for Canada Minister Mr. Prasad Panda by Telugu Cultural Association of Greater Toronto

The Telugu Cultural Association of Greater Toronto Area (TCAGT) organized a dinner reception for the visiting honorable infrastructure minister Prasad Panda in Toronto, Canada. Executive Committee members and the Board of Trustees welcomed the dynamic, community-oriented, and beloved Telugu origin Infrastructure Minister Hon. Prasad Panda with a shawl and bouquet.

President Devi Chowdhary introduced the distinguished guest of honor. Surya Bezawada, former chairman, of the board of trustees explained the significant achievements and the extraordinary services rendered by the infrastructure minister to Albertans as well as to the Indian diaspora. Hon. Prasad Panda Garu spent several days helping coordinate with the High Commission of India, Ottawa as well as the High Commission of Canada to India, in New Delhi when Canadian Citizens were in a crisis to travel between India and Canada. His hard work and tireless efforts in working with the Canada India trade file got much applause from Chambers of commerce and many community organizations.

Hon. Minister Prasad Panda addressed the Telugu community and wished that communities can be empowered by encouraging people to play an active role by participating in social services. He inspired and motivated the Telugu Toronto leaders to step up to be actively involved in mainstream provincial and federal politics. It will give the right path to the next generation of youth to understand and contribute their services to the communities. Hon. Prasad Panda garu answered the several important topics that were asked by the community leaders.

He applauded the Telugu Toronto community leaders for preserving the Telugu language and culture through the Telugu Cultural Association of Greater Toronto, in Canada. TCAGT key leaders Devi Chowdary, President, Siva Yellala, Secretary, Jagan Payidiparthi, Sailaja, Koteswara Polavarapu, Mythri Kalluri, Rajesh Vissa, Sreevani, Purnachandra Rao Vajha, Sada Gadde, Suresh Pinnameneni, and other community members were present at this event. A traditional dinner concluded the event successfully.
